1. New Employee Update Utility
The Employee Update Utility is a powerful new feature for updating various types of employee information.
In the example below, we are giving hourly employees a 2.5% raise and updating the last raise date.
When the Next button is clicked, a new window is displayed that lists the old rate of pay and the proposed new rate of pay. You can de-select one or more employees so that they will not receive the proposed change. You can also manually over-ride the proposed new rate of pay for any employee, by entering a new value.

2. A More Powerful Click-n-Pick Report
The new Click-n-Pick report is a powerful report writer.
It allows you to design your own reports by selecting fields from the Employee Profile, Year-to-date and History.
You can save your report specifications for future use. |
A report can be previewed or printed multiple times without exiting the report window.
You can customize your report's appearance by clicking and dragging items to new positions. You can also add a total field, pick your font, font size, paper size and orientation.

7. Reference Numbers
Version 2 assigns a Reference Number to all payments.
• Payments by cheque are assigned a reference number and a cheque number.
• Payments by direct deposit are assigned a reference number, but they are not assigned a cheque number.
The reference numbers have no affect on the cheque number sequence.

8. Cheque Numbers: Pre-printed Cheques
Version 2 includes the option to assign cheque numbers at the time the cheques are printed, instead of at the time the payroll is calculated. This allows the cheque numbers that are recorded by Easypay to be synchronized with the pre-printed numbers on the cheque forms.

9. Improved Timecard Entry
In the top right hand corner of the timecard entry window, Regular, Overtime and Total hours are displayed for the current employee.
All of the timecards that have been entered and saved for the current employee are displayed in the grid in the bottom of the timecard entry window. You can quickly access any entry displayed in the grid by clicking it.
Earnings and Deductions are now combined on one tab. |
When you select a rate for earnings that are defined as QTY * RATE, the selected rate becomes the default rate for that type of earning. For example, if you select rate D for mileage, then rate D will become the default rate for mileage. To change the default rate, use the drop down list to select a different rate.
